RDID is also the simplest sensor that Spotter Global has ever made to deploy. It can be mounted on almost any structure or location using Spotters proprietary ball mount or a magnet mount. The RDID is also excellent for mobile use. The only government-approved method of mitigating a drone threat is to find the pilot and persuade them to land or reroute their drone. Some pilots will do so immediately once asked politely, while others will need to be reminded of FAA guidelines or state privacy laws. RDID shows the precise location of the drone pilot so that security or law enforcement personnel can go intervene with the pilot as soon as possible.
The Remote Drone ID, is a perimeter security sensor from Spotter Global, that offers ease of use, quick setup and incredible value to stop unwanted drone threats.
The Remote Drone ID detects and tracks approaching drone activity. Because it detects the FAA mandated Remote ID that is transmitted by the drone, the Remote Drone ID can detect and track all FAA-compliant drone movement, day or night, and provide the geolocation of the drone operator as well as the drone.
The Remote Drone ID is the ideal, low-cost solution for detecting all “careless and clueless” drone activity, as well as low-sophistication criminal drone activity which makes up 95+ percent of all drone sightings in the airspace above and around critical infrastructure sites, schools, public gatherings, private residences, and much more.
